User Personas

Meet Ashley & Liam. Ashley’s son has recently been identified as dyslexic. Ashley many not fully understand dyslexia but she knows he needs more help than what Laim’s IEP teacher is able to offer. Private tutors are too expensive for Ashley to afford.

Daran & Ezra face similar challenges, but with an important difference. Daran wants to be active and engaged in his daughter’s development. That is the best way for him to understand her needs and to help her. Unfortunately Daran can’t find a tool to him help his daughter.

User Journeys

At first, Ashley is relieved to know that Liam’s difficulty has a name. But she is quickly frustrated to discover he cannot get all of the training he needs. When her son’s IEP teacher recommends Pho•neme•us, she is hopeful. Ashley teaches Liam sound skills. Over time Liam’s phonemic awareness improves.

Daran looks for a way to engage in Ezra's development actively but is frustrated by the lack of available tools. When he discovers Pho•neme•us, his can participate in her development daily. The app improves Ezra's sound skills, and Daran clearly understands how to help her.
